I started Bits & Pieces because I've always been passionate about creating. I believe we are all designed to create in one way or another and each of us is uniquely gifted to do so. For me, creativity has always been driven by beauty. Now I'm aware beauty is subjective, and yet all of us can look at something- a sunset or mountain range, a field full of wildflowers or a crystal clear lake, and agree- that's beautiful. Beauty unifies us and yet it also distinguishes us, for just as we can all look at a sunset and think it's beautiful, we can also all look at a painting or an article of clothing and be quite divided on whether we'd like to hang said painting in our home or wear said clothing item out. That's what makes beauty so fascinating, and also what motivates me to create things that add beauty to other peoples' lives. We all have our own personal perception of beauty, and things like accessories and home decor allow us to express that perception in our everyday lives. It brings me joy to create things that other people can wear and use to contribute to the beauty that both unites and distinguishes us as human beings. So thanks for being here, and thanks for being you!
